- the Mudgee region lends itself well to exploring on two wheels
- the beauty of the tours is that your luggage miraculously appears at your accommodation each night and you have the security of knowing that vehicle support is just a phone call away
- we had a detailed map, plenty of water and a pannier full of goodies for lunch
- we cycled past quaint heritage listed buildings and out into the open countryside
- long, winding tree-lined roads; warm breeze in our face; past idyllic rural scenes
- at lunchtime we picnicked on a grassy verge
- we arrived at the Goulburn Stone Cottages feeling weary but accomplished
- we were surprised to feel a twinge of sadness when we handed back the bikes
- we could easily have spent a few more days in the saddle exploring
A cross section of satisfied GPT customers
Vine Lovers - from UK
Thank you from two most satisfied customers. We loved it in Mudgee on the bikes -
- Bikes were very comfortable, really good, definitely the right ones for the terrain
- We enjoyed the vineyard stretches and the varied scenery of the routes you recommended for us
- T-shirts are very good - we wore them and they will make a good souvenir of our trip
Adventure Bug - from Canada
I wish that I had longer. I was pleased with my tour and would recommend your company to others -
- Bike was sturdy and suited to the rides
- Liked the rides around Mudgee. Each day brought me to an area I would not normally have seen. Sofala and Hill End were highlights
- The individual guide and maps is a nice touch - good background information and I got the feeling you knew the places well
Melbourne group
Wow - Mudgee is really beautiful - we had a great cycling break and will be back for more -
- The bikes were really comfortable to ride - I am used to a mountain bike but yours were even better - and no mechanical problems what so ever
- The scenery is amazing along some of the town loops - Rocky Waterhole and Snakes Creek in particular
- Queens Pinch was a big ask - but we made it - Thank you for the opportunity
And from Sydney
The best part of the cycling experience for me was meeting other bike riders and rolling along the back roads enjoying each others company -
- I brought my own bike from Sydney but ended up using yours instead as it was so much more comfortable
- The gourmet lunch at the top of Munghorn Gap was really delicious - thanks Angela
- Your attention to detail and individual customer needs was first rate
- Great maps - Thank you all
